The £10m scheme was the first part of the Council and the Welsh Assembly Government’s improvement plan for Pontypridd and has acted as a catalyst for the wider regeneration of the town. Located at St Catherine’s Corner, the impressive landmark structure, built by construction company Macob, includes a 320-space car park and extensive office space on the upper floors. Once more Rhondda Cynon Taf Council is displaying its confidence and commitment to ensuring the strong economic future of Pontypridd by transferring two key services to occupy offices at the new building. The two service areas of Development and Regeneration and Children’s Services occupy three upper floors of the building that accounts for over 12,000 square feet of office space to accommodate 124 members of staff.
