Much has already been achieved in Pontypridd as a £75 million masterplan continues to regenerate the popular market town.

Rhondda Cynon Taf Council is spearheading the transformation of the town centre street scene with a £10.5million funding boost from the Welsh Government and European Regional Development Fupaving-1nd. Taff Street, High Street, Market Street, Church Street, Penuel Lane and Mill Street are all undergoing exciting remodelling.

The regeneraton package also supports grants to private sector property owners to carry our high quality improvements to the internal and external parts of their business premises.

At the Brown Lenox site, supermarket giants Sainsbury’s have completed their new multi-million pound store. Major regeneration work is also set to continue at the town’s busy train station.

Together, Pontypridd is benefiting from its greatest investment programme in generations. Find out more about the achievements to date by making regular visits to this website.
