Major events in the UK this autumn – Part 1
Although it’s hard to believe given their moody weather, you can attend a lot of outdoors events in the UK. This article is about the major music festivals you are invited to attend in the UK this fall. Stay tuned for Part 2 where we talk about other types of events.
The Lockdown Festival is the biggest dance music event in the Southwest and it’s coming back this year to showcase some of the biggest DJs of our time. Get ready to listen to the tunes of Wiley, Dizzee Rascal, TBA, Chase & Status, Kurupt FM, Basement Jaxx, J. Madison among dozens of others.
The festival takes place on 1-3 September, 2017 at Exeter, Devon. For the whole weekend, the town will be filled with house beats, drum & bass, grime, garage and more. There are multiple stages, each hosting world-class DJs. You have to be at least 16 years old to attend and you have to pay a fee between £35 and £231.
We hope you’ve recovered from the Lockdown Festival because you must not miss the Bestival at East Lulworth, Dorset on 7-10 September 2017. Who will be there? For starters, how about The xx, A Tribe Called Quest, Justice, Rag’n’Bone Man and Pet Shop Boys? Some of the artists from the Lockdown Festival will be present here too, so you have one more chance to see them if you couldn’t be there on 1-3 September. The price of the ticket varies between £161 and £181.
Toward the end of the month on 22-25 September 2017, you must not miss the Equinox festival in a secret Lincolnshire location. The price is £89.35 per person and you will be enjoying the music of The Subhumans, Back To The Planet, Terrestrials and many more. The festival is family friendly, so don’t be afraid to bring your kids. In fact, children under 5 have free entry.
